Customized Courses now available!?

Hi there, been out of chess for a year now due to work issue. But workloads decreased recently so i got a time to recheck ICS..I noticed that the school now offers customized course for beginners and intermediate to advanced level of players..Had they offered that before, i think most of us are strong players now, lol!

that's right! as I'm just a bit more than beginner, I suscribed to the customized beginner course. Just finished 1st week on openings. It's quite intensive!! and next weeks there'll be homework too.
I'll give my impressions after some weeks, but the first one is quite good to me, although if you're a complete beginner it might be a bit hard...

Sometimes I think I need to go back to "rank beginner" and start again!

perhaps you should because in the beginner course, in annotated games ICS already gives you ideas for developing your pieces with a specific goal
i've never read a book for beginners speaking to beginners like that.

I think I have to reset my memory and "think chess" like ICS teaches it. getting rid of bad habits is not easy though

Perhaps... difficult though as I'm not even sure I have access to that content... so much has changed. I will have to look :-)

if you subscribed to the grandmaster package, i don't think you have access to the beginner courses...

but when ICS gives examples of tactics, it's not really for beginners...I think they should warn that their beginner course requires some months of practise...

There were only 2 packages available when I joined. The "Main" and the "Opening Module". I got both, but I never could follow anything in the Openings.
