English opening for black
Hi everyone.
I really miss some coverage on the black side of the English in the opening module. Obviously the opening is very transpositional but some good positional suggestion from ICS would help a lot. Maybe someone could suggest some good material on the black side of the English?

Re: English opening for black
Hi - here is the reply from Raul:
"Against the English opening, Black can equalize without much effort but this doesn't mean that he takes the initiative like against other openings (for example Open Sicilians). So Black must not to relax after the opening but play the middlegame with much attention to dangers.
Both Semi-Slav Defense (c6-d5-e6-f7) and Dutch Defense (c6-d5-e6-f5 or
c7-d6-e6(e5)-f5) setups work very well against the English opening. "
Maybe someone someone would like to comment on this ...

Re: English opening for black
Hmmm, in other words they need to write up something for black against the English.
