Elometer
Hello All,
Yesterday a friend of mine on chess24 suggest a website called elometer.com.
The website basically provides 74 test positions and expects one to solve it. The positions are not essentially tactical in nature. In some cases one needs to make positional moves as well. At the end of the exercise the system gives a rating calculated based on the strength of the moves made.
I tried it yesterday night and got a 2238 rating. I am certainly not a 2200 player.
The rating seems to be + 100 to 150 points higher than the actual playing strength.
Give it a try in case you wish.

Re: Elometer
Elometer says...1941. Eh...I thought I would do worse. I don't attach too much meaning to it, but it is what it is.
