Hi,
I'm a recent enrollee in the ICS program, choosing the "custom" program for intermediate players. I'm currently hovering around 1700, having peaked at 1753 last summer at the World Open.
I've been posting my chess progress since getting serious about chess improvement back in 2013. You can read more about me and the journey so far on my chess.com blog: https://www.chess.com/blog/kevinptaylor . If you play on chess.com, please message me there so we can keep in touch/play some games.
Anyway, yesterday was my day working earnestly on the curriculum and so far I'm pretty happy with the structure and content. It was satisfying looking at the 1/2" of printouts for month one.
My main weaknesses as reported by the ICS coach after he reviewed my games was my board vision and lack of playing powerful moves--IE defending to passively/too quickly, instead of playing aggressive moves that fight for the initiative. Yep, I agree and I hope this program will get me through those issues.
Cheers,

Welcome to the forums and to ICS.
Sadly, these forums are rather inactive because people tend to do the course and are active then, but once completed they tend to disappear.
