The videos are up!
The first 8 videos for Month 1 of year 2 have been uploaded by the ICS team.
They are going to have 8 videos per month! So 12 annotated games in pdf and a further 8 via video. Pretty good value I think.
just downloaded and flicked through the first one. They seem pretty good, it looks like the Foxy Openings board they are using. They are standalone videos, not chessbase which I guess they wouldn't have a license for but they seem pretty good.
I'm feeling pretty optimistic about this second year.

Yeah, sound great.
Is there any preview of these on the website ?
Maybe this can make me change my mind about joining.

I don't learn well from videos alone. When I use them as a review or introduction to the lessons they are very effective.

Re: The videos are up!
Depends on the video for me. I have lots of them and chessbase videos are very helpful imo. Boring old normal videos kinda put me to sleep. I haven't yet watched the ones from ICS... because I have completed the 1 year study and need a break from it for now.
I need to move on to endgames and specific openings (I need more than just a set of recommended moves -- I need the theory). I haven't found the openings part of ICS all that useful tbh.
