You point out both the strength and weakness of CT-ART.
I view CT-ART as an instructional program, a lot of the solutions do not put up the complete defense, and solutions are skewed to show the underlying tactial motif. Still, I haven't found any outright "cook" with any of the solutions.
This problem would probably be a bit too long to be considered a warm-up, but if you've already solved it before I don't see any reason not to include in warmups as you could probably solve it in less than a minute even after a month or two.
