Opposite side castling.
I have computed some statistics regarding castling in my games, i notice that 60% of the time i castle on the same side as my opponent and only 15% on the opposite (stats are almost identical for black/white).
First question, what are your stats ?
Second question, is this aspect discussed in ICS course ? Till now, i have not seen it.
I wonder if i should do more than this.
Mainly opposite castling occurs in Sicilian positions for me, but not always.

Re: Opposite side castling.
ICS discusses it in Month 2 when they talk about king safety. If I remember they don't specifically discuss it. They say that in these positions whoever attacks first wins and that's it!

Mostly same side, but i guess it all depends on which openings you play.
