ELO rating distribution.

I have compiled data from FIDE rating list that i have downloaded here :

The list contains 217 139 people.
The column with 113 431 people with rating 0, correspond to people that join FIDE but do not have a rating yet.

As what i can see it is a beautiful gaussian :-)

I see that with my 1956 i am riding the left flank.

Beware, soon it's no more riding but hiking, it is vertical at 2000.
A psychological barrier i think.

After 2100 it is much easier, you just have to let you roll. ;-)
