Hello. I'm trying to improve my chessgame rating. I seem to be stuck at around 1700.
2000 is my goal.
In order to evaluate myself there is an online chessgame rated at about 2000 elo, and if I could beat it or at least come closer to winning I would have felt my progress is a success.
I understand player v. computer is different than from player v. player; but, this online chessgame has been defeated on a regular basis by people with 2000-2100 rating. If I could have that sort of insight that would make me a happy ICS member.
I have lots of free time to invest in chess and I am serious about improving my score, I am just looking for new ways so I can progress. I've been playing for about 11 years off and on, my current age is 29. This is my story and wish me luck.

Welcome to the ICS. I am in my second month on the course. When I was active years ago I was rated USCF 2122. Now with time for chess I would like to earn FIDE Master title. Best Wishes, Zmaster
