Just Saying Hello!

Hello everyone. I purchased the ICS course for my daughter who just started playing chess in February of this year. She is 9 years old and has been progressing pretty well. She went from her first tournament game in March (and a 400 rating) to a current rating of 1113 (and after this weekend I hope she will be much higher as she's playing at the US Game/60 Championships and possibly the Game/30 as well). I have been very impressed with the materials so far and even though my daughter is just in the infancy stages of chess, she has been able to grasp the information very well so far. Any way, we just got her Month 6 Materials and are going to be starting those today.

Our plan is to try and get her around 1400 by the end of the year if possible and get her ready for the Nationals Tournament in December. With a strong tournament this weekend, and a strong showing at the Illinois Open I think the plan is definitely feasible.
