PDF Editing
Do any of you guys have the means to edit the PDF openings documents for the Ruy Lopez and Sicilian?
I like to print off each opening reportoire and store them seperately in paper pockets but they have now gone and lumped all 32 pages of the Ruy Lopez with dozens of different systems into one big pdf file. They did originally split the first Ruy Lopez variations into seperate pdf's and I have printed them off individually but now with them all in one big block I can't print them off as seperate files.
Cany anyone fix that for us and provide them in seperate files?

Re: PDF Editing
Probably not a whole lot you can do with editing PDFs.
But I think these "PDF" documents are straight printouts from Chessbase. So, what you can try to do is separate lines and variations in Chessbase.
Like creating a new board and copy only certain variation with text. And then when you go and print it, it should come out cleaner.
This is just one idea and I haven't tested it but it might work

Re: PDF Editing
If you have some cygwin-X11 or Linux running on your machine you can try pdfedit which is free.

But another easier alternative is to use this online converter, it does a pretty good job, output is word or excel file.

Those are great links! Thanks.
But again, ICS people were entering all their material in Chessbase and just scanned it into a PDF with like PDF writer or something so it's quiet possible to edit and separate material in Chessbase itself! I'm just not sure how easy it is to work with Chessbase for these purposes.
